The statement below is not detailed enough to be accurate, IMO. LDS and
Ancestry did cooperate on some databases, and all LDS centers retain the
rights to use those databases for free. However, whereas Ancestry used to let
all FHL and FHC patrons use all of Ancestry for free, now they are not
continuing that access. They were unable to come to an agreement with the LDS
about offering access, so it is gone.
