The [A] indicates the action was taken by the Admin (you!). Mod is
"moderate" and will hold your messages sent to the list in the pending
file. You would then receive notice of pending messages requiring
Admin review, either with each message or daily, depending on how you
set them.

Only the admin has access to the tools. You may have been still
figuring out how to use MailMan when you changed the settings on your
own address.

No one is automatically subscribed to any of the lists anymore. Also,
admins are required to be subscribed in both single message and digest
mode. MailMan does not permit subscripton of a single address more
than once. We have been given permission to set one of these to send
mail to our list's Admin address, in order we receive both versions at
the same address, and in recognition that some admins have only one
email address. [We are never to send mail from the list's admin
address... even if we know the technology to trigger the identity to
send mail.]

If your list is slow, you may want to take a peek in the archives now
and again, just to make sure your address has not "fallen off the
list."
