Hi Joan,
I am at cox.net. I couldn't figure out why I was not getting emails, this
was awhile ago. I had to sign into my cox account and remove rootsweb.com
from the block file, (I use outlook). Not sure why it happened, but somehow
it was blocked.

Subject: [LO] Is Cox.net blocking RootsWeb list mail?
I've had what seems like an abnormal number of cox.net subscribers bounce
off my lists this morning. The lists were all on the lists2 and lists9
servers. There isn't really anything very revealing in the bounce reason
given. It merely says "recipient rejected" and "user unknown" but there
have been 5 of these for different addresses on busy lists where bouncers
wouldn't be all bouncing off at the same time and they are ALL from
cox.net--which leads me to wonder whether Cox might be blocking RootsWeb
list mail.
Is anyone else seeing this phenomenon? I'm unsure if this reaches the
level of something that should be reported to reported to RootsWeb as a
possible block--which is why I wondered how widespread this is.
Joan
