You know I got to thinking about what you said, and I have to wonder if some
sort of program could be run to toggle that particular switch in the pending
messages page.

Defer is marked as a code of 1 - as its default.

I have to think that some person who knows programming could create
a batch file to run against a page to toggle all instances of the this is spam
to change from 0 which is it's default to 1 which is 'On'.
