AOL doesn't give the option of replying with angle brackets--only with an
indented quote or the blue line. Either one is HTML but it is a form of HTML
that MailMan is easily able to remove -- so the LIST copy of a reply from an
AOLer WILL be in plain text but a private copy will be in HTML with the blue
line quote or indented quote. I COULD change each reply to plain text only if I
wanted to but I seldom bother because then the private reply isn't clear as to
what is being quoted and I know that this type of HTML is one that MailMan CAN
handle.

PS: If my email was not a reply -- and didn't quote previous text--then it would
have been in plain text as that is how I have my emails set.
