Spammers don't care whether an address is valid or not. They get paid
for the quantity of garbage they flood the web with. If a percentage
of the mails bounce around cyberspace, they don't care.

A large percentage of the traffic bouncing around cyberspace is
apparently misaddressed mails, according to the experts.
