Judy,

Took some more looks, couldn't find anything that was close to him in the
1870.
The 1880 seems pretty sure he was never married or divorced..

Sorry,
Jennifer

Thomas's father was Michael so if he had a son there might be a Michael. As
far as a wife goes I only have the information from his death record and the
1880 census that he was single. I also am assuming that he was in the
Worcester/North Brookfield area. That might be a wrong assumption but it's the only
idea I have. You might want to try Margaret or Mary for a child. He was
living in a 4 family house in 1880 and the families listed above him and below had
women by the name of Margaret and Mary who could be his daughters I suppose.
Margaret is listed as 30 and Mary is listed as 26. In 1880 he is listed as
50 but I have found that the Irish tend to "forget" their real ages. This is
a long shot especially since almost everyone listed at that residence had at
least one member of the family working in the shoe factory.

Judy,

1870 found a 46 yr old Thomas Farrell, shoe maker with family. Would you know
wife's name any children? it would help narrow it down.

Still looking for my ggguncle, Thomas Farrell, born between 1825 and 1830
and who died in No. Brookfield, MA in 1897. At the time of his death he was
a shoemaker. In 1880 he was living in No. Brookfield, MA. Would like to
find him in 1870 if possible.

Thanks.
