For all you Munchies out there - reference to Owens Valley is where Wilton
Cook, s. of Simeon, s. of Simeon.....Walter.......had a ranch. He was one
of the ranchers that spent his weekends setting dynamite charges on the Los
Angeles aqueduct as it was being built. Eventually, he had to sell off is
land piece by piece due to lack of water for livestock.
