Hi All,
Jesse the dates you mentioned on your Sweets, sent me to the
Narragansett Historical Registers, that was discussed on the List
previously Vol 7.
The dates and your clue n Nova Scotia leads me to believe your
Sweet family were LOYALIST.. Their is a Nehemiah SWEET.from Providence ,
R.I. and a Beniamin.. from Newport County R.I.that emigrated to NS. 1760.
All the Loyalist records are in the "Province Library at Halifax. NS".
Now R.I. may also have some records or history on these
families..Worth a try.
One of these could be your line??
Alice
