Hi Lisa and all Listers,
Not sure if this went to the list??

Lisa the carousel was sold, somewhere to someone on the North
shore, well maybe South shore.(R.I.?) :) and then they said it was
later torn down and buried . Rumors of all kinds have flown about
what happened to the Lake Nipmuc carousel. It was called the
Flying Horses",
I believe the one that was still there in 1970 was a small
Kiddie one??
There is a man in Mendon whose hobby is carousels, I believe he
found someone that lived on the Cape that had one of the
original horses of it..
Historians have argued for years what really happened to it.
Contact Tom Irons on Blk. St.. He probably can tell ya more about
it.
Alice
