** Two new pages on the vineyard.net history/genealogy site:

1) An amazing set of color photos of the 1958 Tashmoo Inn fire, taken by
Freeman Leonard who was the first on the scene with a camera. A member of
the local photo club, Freeman developed the slides himself and they were
shown the next day in the window of Mosher photo (and then later in court!)
This building dated back to 1883, and had been moved in 1901 from the
corner of Main street and Church street to near the corner of Main and
Tashmoo avenue. It's a little unsettling in the wake of the images we've
been seeing on TV all week, but it's a spectacular set of photographs
nonetheless.

2) Tisbury Death Records 1901-1912. Photographs of the original records.
These new digital cameras are fantastic! I transcribed the names so that
the search engines will pick them up.
