Subject: obit for Augusta Hempel who died in Wrentham 1893

Greetings. I am trying to determine if there may be an
obituary for one Augusta (Klapperodt) Hempel, born
about 1827 to August and Emma Klapperodt in Germany,
and died in Wrentham, Mass on Sept 15, 1893.

Augusta married Charles (likely originally named Carl)
Hempel in Germany, and immigrated with her husband and
three sons (Charles William, John, and Ernest) to
Norfolk County, Mass about 1865. The Hempels were
jewelers.

Census records indicate that the Hempels may have come
from the former Kingdom of Hannover (which was invaded
by Prussia in 1866, and became part of the German
Empire), and Augusta's cemetery record indicates she
was born in Herzberg (which may be Herzberg am Harz,
located in present-day Lower Saxony [then a part of
the Kingdom of Hannover]).

There does seem to be a genealogical room at the
Wrentham library, but the library itself doesn't
accept genealogical queries.
