I'm not sure what it is you are refering to but I see some miss-
information here.

If it comes from Leiden it would not effect one in 20. The same is
true if it's a mutation. I suspect it's reference to Leiden is just
because that is one known source.

I have an inherited mutation that comes from one of my Massachusetts
ancestors which is said to have originated with a princess in Russia
but my doctor assures me that is not true.

Being a mutation it could come from anywhere, at any time, and once
formed could travel in any race. And I can assure you that it does
not occur in 1/20 th of the population. In fact, it's a major health
problem for some, and still many doctors don't know how it's treated

Though it travels in the X chromosome some think it comes only from
a woman, but that's not so. Genetics explains that.
