Hi, I'm hoping that the person who offered to do lookups could help me shed some light on this brickwall of mine.
Will the real Patience Mayo, please stand up?
I have a Patience Mayo, b. 1732 who m. July 15, 1750. Plymouth, Middleboro, Ma., Gideon Braley, b. Jan. 29, 1729, son of Ambrose amd Mary (Reynolds) Braley.
Some have listed her as a dau. of Elisha Mayo, b. 1695 and Hannah Linnell.
Elisha was a son of Nathaniel Mayo and Elizabeth Wixam.
Other people have listed Patience as a dau. of John Mayo (John) b. 1691 and Susanna Freeman, b. 1696.
Both lineages, had daughters named Patience and both are descendants of William Brewster of the Mayflower.
Do you know if anything is documented, saying that Patience Mayo, daughter of so and so married Gideon Braley?
Any help would be so much appreciated. Thank-you, Bea
