Hi Carol,

Won't try to help much on the Tupper or Phinney parts, but can give a little on Thankful's mother's Fish lineage. Here's Thankful's birth & siblings:

>From Sandwich VRs, [C.L. Kardell and R.A. Jr. Lovell, compilers, Vital Records of Sandwich MA to 1885 (Boston, MA: NEHGS, 1996)] p. 112:

Enoch Tupper the son of Samuel Tupper & Hannah his wife was Born the 30th Day of April Anno Domini 1729

Peleg Tupper the son of Samuel Tupper & Hannah his wife was Born the first Day of April Anno Domini 1731

Jabez Tupper the Son of Samuel Tupper & Hannah his wife was Born the 27th Day of January Anno Domini 1732/3

Seth Tupper Son of Samuel Tupper & Hannah his wife was Bom the 6th Day of May Anno Domini 1735

Rachel Tupper daughter of Samuel Tupper & Hannah his wife was Born the 9th Day of April Anno Domini 1737

Thankful Tupper Daughter of Samuel Tupper & Hannah his wife was Born the 23d Day of January Anno Domini 1740/1

Israel Tupper son of Samuel Tupper & Hannah his wife was Born May 9th AD 1744

Hannah Tupper daughter of Samuel Tupper & Hannah his wife was Born the 26th Day of May Anno Domini 1746

Thankful's parents' marriage:

Also SVRs, p. 1618, citing Benjamin Fesenden's Diary:

1726 - October the 14th Then Samuel Tupper & Hannah Fish both of Sandwich were Married by mr Benjamin Fessenden Minister at Sandwich

[her line: Hannah(4) Fish, Seth(3) Fish, & Mary Turner, Ambrose(2) Fish & Hannah Swift, Nathaniel(1) Fish & 1st wife name unknown]

I'm no expert on the Tupper or Phinney lines, but believe your notes may come from the NEHGR. See the article on Thomas Tupper in Apr 1945.
