Bowen Cemetery
In the early thirties, this cemetery was situated at 2110 So. Main St.
I was on the Old John Bowen Farm, near the site of the first cotton mill in
Fall River at Globe Corners.
In 1932 only two stones were standing
In memory of Eliza Ann wife of John B. Tallman who died March 20, 1931
In the 21st year of her age.
In memory of Judith wife of John
Shearman and daughter of John Bowen
Who died July 22, 1847
Brightman Cemetery
Location:
Corner of Ruth and Willow Streets, near New Boston Road. In 1980 this
cemetery was still there although overgrown with brush and trees.
The stones were still standing.
