First,
Are you aware of this site and the gedcom material you can request:
<http://www.coryfamsoc.com/william/william/d3.htm#P3>
Unfortuantely, your Roger is not detailed at this page but i suspect there's
stuff on him in the gedcom file. Clik on the footnote next to his name to go
to the footnote page for that citation.
The above is from a Google search: "roger cory"+"rhode"
Second,
in the 3rd paragraph below, the Sk sentence reads: "at Sk, page 512." I
read THAT to mean that in some unnumbered volume at South Kingston, on p.
512 is a copy of RC's will.
Have you contacted South Kingston?
Ti vol 7 -
It's likely worth a phone call to the clerk with this specific citaiton hand
to double check there's no problem at their end. Or to photocopy the
information and send it along with a gentle cover letter asking them to try
again. (I had to do that with an Irish FHC to get them to "look" a little
closer.)
Still, some lister myah have the answer for you.
I looked up Cory in my Bristol Abstract books which only go to 1762.
There's only a Thomas over in Dartmouth MA.
Getting somone to check Bristol records for Cory/Francis post 1762 might be
worhtwhile at some point.
