New Bedford does have copies of the old deeds at the New Bedford Registry of Deeds. I have looked at the old deeds prior to 1825 for Dartmouth there.

Hello.
Are you asking about the old deed or the Quaker burial records?
Have you tried the Registries of Deeds in Taunton and/or New Bedford? I
know that the Dartmouth deeds prior to ~ 1825 are (at least) in the Taunton
Registry of Deeds. (Someone else probably knows if the New Bedford Registry of
Deeds also has copies of those deeds prior to 1825.) I live closer to
Taunton, so I have always used Taunton's Registry of Deeds for earlier (Dartmouth)
deeds. If I am looking for a Dartmouth deed that was after 1825, I go to New
Bedford's Registry of Deeds. Betty
