"boards" means the person does not own the place where he or she lives. I
have several Chelsea relatives who lived with an uncle or aunt and were,
therefore, listed as "boarding" there in the directory. The uncle/aunt were
listed with the same address as "house" or "h." "(B)" is business, so that
is the address where the person worked.
