darn, Jim, I have no idea...Jewish??? how interesting....his records...oh! I
forgot-here's another twist! some of his records say he's from Poland, but
his medical records say he's from Russia! and Jewish? it's possible, I won't
discard that possibility. fascinating. I seem to be about 114 Heinz, not
just 57! LOL!
ok, time frames would help for when and how he's listed as Polish and as
Russian.

earliest known record;
Charles' Boston marriage, Oct 3, 1893 states he was b. in Poland
next record with place of origin;
Allan John Wagner's Boston birth record states Charles was b. in Poland
next record with place of origin;
Chelsea Marine Hospital medical record Feb 11 and Mar 3 1894 state Charles
was b. in Russia he was admitted for pneumonia in Feb and recovered, then
admitted for a heart attack in March...same place as the one listed in his
death form.
I have often wondered if he abandoned her-or visa versa, and she had a
friend in the hospital make that form out for her. I just can't figure why
there is no death record. the sad thing is that it so deeply affected Allan
that he died on the same day and month as his father. any way, I've always
wondered if there was something not quite strait up with that record. oh,
and I was digging through a box of papers looking for something on another
line and found the MA letter regarding the various Charles Wagners in the
list of vitals...didn't one die in 1898? that's the year Annie remarried...

I'm starting to release some old set ideas about Charles, so maybe I can
find him now.

Jewish....how interesting. she was Presbytarian. the McD.'s were
Presbytarian. maybe he was an inactive Jew. I assumed he'd be Lutheran, but
you never know.
