A kind soul found this obituary about my gggrandfather while visiting the BPL. Not a lot of info, but I at least can hone in on his date of birth being approximately Jan 19, 1847, or as we would say on the list:

CROCKETT, George W., 19, 1847, @St. John's New Brunswick, d@20 Nov, 1904 @Chelsea, MA. Wed to Mary E. Cook, m@14 May 1871 (b@22 Apr 1848 @St. John's, NF).

The Chelsea Gazette (Nov 26, 1904) made no mention

Nothing in the Globe or Hearst's Boston American.

Also: Does anyone have any suggestions for researching on-line for births/marriages/deaths in northern Ireland? Family name being searched is Ritchie/Richie.
