Alyson,
The Boston Directory site is WONDERFUL!!! I've found all kinds of ancestors
here! I also appreciate you sending in the links for the Nova Scotia and
New Brunswick Archives last week- I found lots of ancestors there, too!

I have a copy of "John Haven Dexter's Memoranda of the Town of Boston" and
if it is helpful to anyone, give me a message through this forum. It is
like an expanded city directory, with notes on people street by street as
John Dexter knew them (for example, he names children, nicknames, births and
deaths and other useful notes next to their names. You never know when he
might have a useful clue next to a name that could lead to a real
breakthrough in finding someone! The names are 18th and 19th century.
