Looking for info on John Maclean b. abt 1776 and Euphemia Ferguson b. abt 1781, married abt 1803. From Islay, Scotland. May have had son Donald Maclean b abt. 1827 and Mary (or possibly Agnes) b. abt 1805. Mary may have married a John Johnston and had a son, John who was orphaned and lived with grandparents John & Euphemia Maclean.

John & Euphemia are listed in the 1841 census as living in Corsabell, Kilchoman, and in 1851 just Euphemia living in Smaul with grandson John Johns(t)on 7 yrs old.

The family may have connections to Greenock, near Glasgow.
