Hey Jeff!
Remember me? <mailto:> I had that 'brick wall' w/my Grandma; Francis McComb, of whom was born in a ghost
town in Nevada? I know you've undoubtedly been inundated w/soooo many requests from folks, but when I got this email, I
just remembered how funny you are, & hope ya remember me! I send ya stuff from time to time, but never hear back; so just
figure your tooooo busy! In any case, what struck me about this email was the item about 'Jacob SHAW McComb'... Why? Well
my Grandfather, of whom married Francis McComb was named: Harry SHAW Hubbard... I wonder if there's any connect?
What cha think? I know back in those days they did use the Surname as a middle name~ So was wonderin' if you may have
any insight on this? Thanx in advance, Jeff... Hope your doing good & not workin' your fingers to the bone! I've been online so
much lately I've got my good ole 'carpel tunnel' back!!! LOL! Hope to hear from ya when ya get a free chance! *Donna*

Patrons

Headed SOUTH !! and I'm starting my journey `southward` with the
decedents
of Jacob. I've seen posting for years about this GUY and if this info
can help
you then great, however I don't have alot, its all just an effort to get
the info
out there. It's in NO WAY all our southern branches either, but its all
that I can find
at the moment. Remember this is all one family and this is an enormous
task,
I do appreciate all of your patience.

Robert's and John's tree's are so BIG,
however I'm going to do Roberts last simply because he's my 7th grandpa
and I have
the most on him.

Our family fought, died and built this country, just wait till
I get to Eleazer ( 1st Continental Congress ). I have a letter he wrote
to his
buddy George Washington, YES they were all buddies and I will send you
(Patrons)
a copy if requested. Its written in 1791, its pretty cool, I cant
remember whom gave it too
me, sorry !!

Again, if at anytime you find me incorrect, don't be afraid
to speak up and smack me around a bit, however Virginia McComb makes us
ALL
look like ROOKIES and I have no problem bringing her back to life a bit
and sharing
her life long work. It's meant for us !! This is all meant for us !!
Just more pieces to
this enormous tree. I know she worked hard on everything that she did,
not just this
register.

To see most of these guys in one place simply got to this website
below>

at any time, however it
is still under construction. That McComb website goes with all these
histories now being
stored in the Archives for you and later researchers !!

I will respond this weekend, just pressed for time, but will get some
more out on Thomas Jacob line's
tonight.

Good Luck Folks !! Now back to Jacob Shaw McComb and SOME of his
descendents !!!
