I am sending directly to you. For some reason, rootsweb is bouncing for
me.
Would you forward it for me please?

Katherine, Cathy, Beth, Andrea - and all others concerned:
My ancestor, Henry Thrasher, was another one who went from Casco Bay to
Salem and back again maybe a couple times. Henry, ancesty unknown, was
married to Deborah Southwick, daughter of Josiah Southwick and Mary
Boyce.
On his final trip, he left his wife and children in Salem - a very wise
move
because he was one of those massacred in 1703. I have quite a bit of
information but am always looking for more. Someday I hope to find
Henry's
parents. Anyone have an idea?
These quotes might be of interest to some:
"At Salem there is a deposition of Benjamin Wallace, cordwainer of
Beverly,
of full age, stating that seventeen years ago he was at Casco Bay with
Henry
Thresher and Thresher war Lovett away; which was done. (Essex Co. deed,

35-259).The land lay at Papoobuck between lands of John Wallis and
Robert
Stanford. Thresher died ther 19 March 1718-20. (Essex Deed 37-88).
Joseph
Thresher, son of Henry Thresher . . . claims land at Papooduck
between
land of John Wallace and Robert Stanford." "A deposition of James
Wallis
states that about seventeen or eighteen years ago he saw Joel Maddifer
deliver the possession of said 100 acres by twig and turf to Henry
Thresher." I have more info on Henry and sources.
