needs your
prayers more than us "old" New Englanders at this time. Another school
shooting!!

Well, Carol, as long as you're calling for our prayers, I suggest that you
pray real hard that that a high school shooting doesn't happen in New
England
once the weather improves. Southern Californians don't have a patent on
violence, you know. One might say that using violence to solve problems in
interpersonal relationships in America started with the Salem witch
persecutions. In addition to praying, you could support an organization like
the Million Mom March.

Hi Group - Cousins

Listening to 2 local stations (10 & 12) one says 8"-12" and the other
12" to 2 ft! at the 12 noon news. And as Alison and others have said
schools closed several businesses and "Parking Bans" galore.

About 1 1/2 hours ago my husband scrapped about 3/4" snow off the walks.
We may have had a bit more but it has been misting for several hours off
and on. Massachusetts has called state of Emergency but RI hasn't at
this point.

We went thru the blizzard of '78 and being boxed in for almost a week -
but this storm just isn't reacting like that one did. It maybe because
we've had a long time and warnings. We'll see.
