I just received a private e-mail from (ruth).
with an attachment.
Everything in the text is quoted from prior mail. Ruth has added
NO additional text.
For those who are familiar with viral behavior:
Is there a way for a mischevious person to send mail as if authored
by somebody else? (not the attachment, the e-mail itself)
And Ruth, can you tell us whether you sent me private mail, and if
you did, why you did not add any text of your own?

One additional observation maybe TOTALLY unrelated:
Soon after I signed onto this list, I started receiving Aol "Instant Messages"
from , each of which I ignored.
Finally I responded by saying I do not want Instant Messages. KGJr2002
responded by asking "What school do you go to" I responded "Go away",
No more "Instant Messages". The next day, I learned how to turn off
"Instant Messages" and did. I will be reporting this to AOL.
