I know I'm in the minority here but I have to respond.
I've been a member of ancestry for 2 years now and have had none of the
problems I've seen described. I get an email a couple weeks before my
subscription is due to run out advising me of the expiration date and telling
me what to do.
I've found so many things on ancestry's database that I feel I've gotten my
subscription price back and more.
I know most people don't agree with my views but had to voice my opinion too.
I'll take ancestry over the other ones out there that charge you for info
supplied to them by other subscribers with no actual databases of proven
source material, such as, GMB, Colonial Families, Early Connecticutt
Marriages, Hartford Probate Indexes, etc., etc., etc.
