The accuracy referred to depends on the LDS source. If it was taken from
microfilmed records of Essex vitals, naturally the data will match, but much
of the IGI and the major portion of the Ancestral Files information was
originally submitted by individuals who had their own objectives in mind and
therefore one should take anything gleaned from the on-line records with
several grains of salt.
