The very best defense against either virus[es] / worm[s] /
trojan[s].......an UP-TO-DATE antivirus program.

When I say up-to-date, I _do not mean_ the current version of whatever
antivirus software, I mean an antivirus program with the virus definitions
updated on a weekly or even daily basis. This is a simple few minutes
download and well worth the time.

Rather than a debate on the merits and demerits of various email clients,
we _all_ need to recognize and respect that we use different email
clients. We, each, use whichever one we like / enjoy / are comfortable with.

In order to protect ourselves [our data] and those we correspond with, an
antivirus software program is a MUST.
