I am researching a Joshua Abbott (Abbot, Abbet) who was born circa 1735 probably in Essex Co, Mass. He is listed in the town records of Hampton Falls, NH marrying a Hannah Hoyt in 1753. Hannah Hoyt's family came from Essex Co. Joshua moved to Chester, NH in 1757 and then to Fremont (once called Poplin), NH. He died in 1819 in Fremont. Any information on this Abbott would be greatly appreciated.
