Hi all,
Sorry I haven't responded up till now but we've been scrambling to get
our house ready to put on the market and we've finally made it. Things have
been rather hectic! I want to thank all who have responded about the Bible.
I plan to go to Ipswich on the 17th and will stop in at the library to ask
if they will take it. If not then I'll go to the Historical Society. The
NEHGS will be my last resort as I've been told they cannot take the entire
Bible but rather only the family records portion. I'd rather not have the
Bible destroyed if at at possible. I'll post another message with my
results. Once again, thank you for all your help.
Burt
PS I have an appointment in Ipswich at 8:30am, therefore, I should be at the
library around 10:00am if anyone who lives nearby wants to see it. I hope to
be able to spend a few hours researching while I'm there.
