This is to the list owner Mariana Bean Ruggles. Do you know if you have any
Beane relatives from Carroll Co NH? I am looking for a Lydia Bean b 6-11-1821
d LeGrande IA 2-3-2899. I believe she had a bro. or close family member named
Albert L. beane. There may have abeen a Joel Bean also. It seems sometimes
they left the E off the end of their name & sometimes not. Lydia was the 2nd
wife of Jonathan Beede of Rockingham Co NH. He m Lydia sometime after 1850
and before 1870. They moved to IA by 1870. I believe they may still have been
in Nh by 1867 as Jonathan's oldest dau Caroline Elizabeth m.Wm. Corliss 13
Apr 1867 in Newburyport MA. I am trying to find Lydia's father or parents in
Caroll Co NH. They were quakers & there may be MM records in Hampton NH as I
found some other info there but I don't know how to access those records.
Someone else found it for me. A lot of MM are not indexed so it takes someone
who is familiar with them I suppose. Well thanks for any info if you have it
