George B. Gardner was born in 1828 in Salem, Mass. But I haven't been able
to find any information on this. When he was six his father died. He then
grew up at a Uncles. Who was the Uncle. When he was 18 he went into the
Navy. He was in the Mexican war. He also sailed on the Concordia to China
and other places. In 1849 he went to Vermont. Does anyone out there no
anything about Georges family in Mass? Any help would be greatly
appreciated. Thank you, Connie
