births:

Sarah, d. Obediah and Mary Oct 18, 1760
Obediah, s. Stephen and Judith, bp. Mar 17, 1733/4

Two Marys born in Amesbury in 1719 and 1800 - they don't appear to be yours.

Marriages:
Obediah and Mary Martin, m. Jan 19, 1758

These entries are all from the Amesbury Vital Records to 1850.
All the births for Badgers list the parents and the ones above are the only
two for Obediah and Mary.

Under deaths are:

Obediah, Dec. 29, 1821
___, wid. Obediah, June 24, 1825
Molly, old age, at the poorhouse, May 27, 1832, age 90 y.

The latter Molly doesn't look like it is yours.

So it appears that, at least, Obediah lived in Amesbury all his life.
Your Molly must have been born after 1760.
Sometimes they didn't register the births, sometimes they were registered
in other cities even though the people didn't live there, or they may have
moved away for a brief period.

There are no deaths for WIlliam or Mary/Molly Goodwin in Amesbury, so they
must have moved away.
If they lived to 1850 there are 8 William Goodwins listed in Essex county
in the 1850 census but none in Amesbury.
The last time WIlliam Goodwin appears in the census in Amesbury is 1810.

Obediah, by the way, is always spelled with an e rather than an a (but that
doesn't necesarily mean anything.)

Steve
