Morning List,
In our Sunday Newspaper there was an interesting article about " Digs Unearth
Slave Plantations in North"
One of the people mentioned was Col. Samuel Brown of Salem, Ma who owned
a 13,000 acre "plantation" with Afro-American and Piquot Indians enslaved.
I am just learning about this and wonder if anyone knows and can share more...
I believe Col. Samuel had two sons a Samuel and William.
The plantation dates from 1718 to 1781.
