Vinson,Abigail d. William and Rechall, May 28, 1668 (Gloucester VR 1:739)
Vinson, Abigail and Jacob Elwell, July 5 1686 (Gloucester VR 2:558)
Vincen, [Vinson. CT.R.] William and Rechall Cooke, June 10, 1661 [17: 8m:
1660, CT.R.]

I find no death in Gloucester for Abigail Elwell in 1690.

With so few Vinson/Vincent in Gloucester it is highly likely that the
Abigail who m. 1686 to Jacob Elwell is the same woman who was born to
William and Rachel (Cooke) Vinson.

Looking at the Elwell births to Jacob and Abigail, it would appear that she
did not die in 1690, as I spotted several children, one born as late as
1707/8.

I see no deaths for either Abigail or Jacob Elwell in Gloucester, and only
one child died there. It would seem that they removed from Gloucester.

In further browsing I found the will of Bridget Varney (Essex Probate 2:312)
who bequeaths to "my Daughter Rachel Vinson (wife of William Vinson). Will
signed 10 Nov 1671 Her will also mentions a son Thomas, and William and
Rachell Vinson had a son Thomas.

Estate of William Varney (Essex Probate 1:173) mentions his widow Bridget
and says 3 sons and one dau, none named. Administration granted to Bridget
Mar 28, 1654.

I did not find a record of Rachel Varney's marriage to a Cooke, nor a death
for a Cooke .

Hope this helps
Kathy
