HI All,
I am looking for any information in regards to John E. DOHERTY and wf
Abigail PARSONS .
John E. DOHERTY b. ca. 1822 Nova Scotia s/o Edward and Mary BANCROFT .
Abigail b. ca. 1832 in Rockport ,Essex,MA . (as noted in 1855 Census)
They m. bef. 1855 . Children : Elias , Mary E., Isaac, John S.* , George ,
William , & Benjamin F.

John S. was b. 25 April 1866 ,Rockport,MA d. 18 Oct.1954 in Foxborough ,
Norfolk,MA
but was at the time res. of N. Attleboro,Bristol,MA .
His wf; Ada M. ALLEN d/o Henry and Sarah (DOWNES)

According to another descendant Ada was John's 2nd wf.
also the same desc. notes Abigail PARSONS , birth names as Mary and as d/o
Jonathan and Mary (nee?) PARSONS.

In 1855 there was a Jonathan Jr. (age 38) and Mary (age 50) in Rockport
with daughter Mary (age13) .

Abigail was already m. to John E. DORATY/ DOHERTY/ DOROTHY age 23 in 1855 .

Any records found in regards to Abigail (PARSONS) DOHERTY I have found from
1855 up to the 1880 Census and death record of son John S. has her name
documented as "Abigail"
Though I know people oft used middle names as their first , I am looking to
find and confirm beyond a doubt who Abigail's parents were.


Any and All help in regards to Abigail or any other family related
information would be greatly appreciated.
