MY scenario:
Mary Ramsdill married James Pillar 1731.
James Pillar drowned bef 11 Sep 1742. Drowning usually not recorded.
John Grant filed intention to marry mary Pillar 11 Sep 1742. marriage
never took place, probably as John also drowned.
Mary Pillar married John Phillips in Cambridge 19 Jun 1744.
She may be the Mary Ramsdell born in Lynn 18 Dec 1702 to Jonathon and a
anna.
