Hello,

We spent the day in Gloucester yesterday visiting friends. While driving
to and from their home, I happened to notice a very small "burial ground"
which seems to have been abandoned. I think it is on a little piece of
land between Washington St. and So. Kilby St., or it was in that area.

Out of curiousity, I went to the official web site for Gloucester, and found
out that a "restoration of burial grounds" was started a few years ago:

I don't get to Cape Ann too often, but try to visit once each summer !
But, I know that coastal communities sometimes have smaller and older
cemeteries that in-land communities ! I was wondering if anyone could
comment on the "burial grounds" in Cape Ann !

Betty (near Lowell, MA)
