Good afternoon, everyone, and Happy 4th of July.

Peridically I post a thank you in recognition of all the hard work that
the people are doing who transcribe various records. This includes those
working on the vital records project for me and Ray and Jane and any others.
These people are the ones whose work is invaluable in getting things done
and making it easier for all of us to research our ancestry.

However, one person, whom I have rarely mentioned, goes far beyond what
would be called normal volunteer work. She is a full time mother of two, a
homemaker and wife. She is a Town Coordinator who makes frequent trips to
her town to take pics of homes, gravestones and anything else she thinks
will be of interest to researchers. She has been coordinating the
transcription of the vital records for Marblehead and Gloucester, taking
those off my load. She has personally transcribed some of the smaller towns.
She is working on one of the larger towns which should be online, in its
entirety, in the next 2-3 weeks. She has made several of the quick town
pages for both Essex and Middlesex counties for me. She is now also helping
me in working on just how the index to the vital records will be done.

So, without further fanfare and ado, I'd like to give very special thanks
to Jodi Salerno. She is now, officially, the co-County Coordinator for Essex
County.
