Since I first read your message, I've been racking my braine to try to remember why the name is so familar to me. Still haven't figured that out. But I know that name.
I don't know if its because my family(mothers) came from Salem(by way of Co Donegal Ireland and Malden and Peabody Ma) or if its some other reason.

This may seem weird, but do you know a Ted McKay?
I think he was a delivery man in Reading for Cushman's Bakery back in the 1950's. Grasping at straws, to make that connection.
There is no family connection as far as I know, but still this is knawing at me.
If I learn anything else I'll post it here.
