Hello, all.

I have completed my finding aid for Volume 20 of the
online Essex County deed images
(http://salemdeeds.com/historic.asp). To see the
finding aid, go to www.newenglandcousins.com and click
on the Essex Deeds link in the left-hand margin.

The finding aid contains more information than the
usual grantor/grantee index, but it is by no means a
complete index of all names in the volume. Still, you
will find it useful if you are researching any of the
several hundred people mentioned. Additional details
about using the finding aid are provided at the top of
the web page. Please read that material before
searching for names.

My apologies to those of you who subscribe to both the
Essex County list and the Gen-Massachusetts list. You
will receive this message twice. I am sending it to
both lists since I have no idea how much overlap there
is between them.

I should note that there are a handful of people from
New Hampshire mentioned in the finding aid as well,
along with a few from Middlesex and Suffolk Counties,
one from Newport, and one from Philadelphia.

Good luck with your research.
