Dear Tom,
I just checked the RAOGK website and Lawrence is in Essex Co. There is a volunteer that
will do obit look-up's free.
For 5 years I volunteered for the site, I wish more people would. It would certainly help us all
with the cost of genealogy.

Has anyone requested an obit from the Lawrence Public Library recently?
I sent a request for 2 obits well over a month ago and have not heard
anything yet. I'm not complaining, mind you, as their rates are very
reasonable, and I'm willing to wait. And I'd rather not call and bother
them if they're shorthanded. I was just curious if anyone might be able
to shed some light on the usual waiting time.
