Subject: [MAESSEX] Mary Ayers & Robert Stocker

Greetings,
Searching for the parents of Mary Ayers whose intention of marriage to Robert Stocker at Ipswich was published 19 December 1730.
They had (as far as I have been able to find) two children:
i. Mary, died 10 February 1731, cited as "infant daughter of Robert and Mary.
ii. Robert, bt. 30 October 1731, son of Robert and "Sarah." Question: is this a typo or was she recorded as Sarah and not Mary?
Robert Sr. "drowned at sea fishing on Canso bank" 7 April 1737. I would think there would be an administration of the father's estate but is not listed in the on-line Essex Probate records nor is there a guardian appointed for Robert, Jr. who would have been only 6 years old. Any suggestions on where to look?
Any help would be much appreciated.
Regards,
Susan M.
