101 ELIJAH KIDDER (Job, Joseph, John, James), born at Goffstown, N. H. about
1762; died there in 1810. He married at Goffstown, 27 Nov. 1783, MARY
SARGENT, born there 8 Mar. 1764; died at Grantham, Sullivan Co., N. H., 30
Mar. 1849, daughter of Trueworthy and Hopestill (Weed) Sargent.

Elijah Kidder was a private in Capt. James Aikin's Company of Col. Moses
Kelly's Regiment of New Hampshire Volunteers. His name appears on the
Goffstown bounty list.

Children, born at Goffstown:

245 ii. JACOB, b. about 1787.

iii. BETSEY, b. 13 Sept. 1790; d. at Grantham, 31 May 1889, aged 98 years, 8
months, 18 days; m. at

Goffstown, 7 Dec. 1814, ALLEN KIDDER (Reuben, Noah, Joseph, John, James),
No. 267, b. probably at Vassalboro, Kennebec Co., Me.; d. at Grantham, 23
Feb. 1871.

246 iv. EDWARD, b. 15 Mar. or 29 Apr. 1792.

v. POLLY SARAH, b. in 1799; m. TIMOTHY KIDDER (Joseph, Noah, Joseph, John,
James), No.

269, b. at Enfield, N. H. in 1796; d. there 28 June 1873.

247 vi. JESSE, b. 29 Apr. 1808.

vii. LUCY, m. at Rochester, Windsor Co., Vt., 7 Dec. 1826, BENJAMIN MARTIN
of that town.
