Michelle,
I have Bayley, Boynton, Harriman, Jewett, Spofford, and Tidd on my
family tree. I don't know if I have any 'new' information but, I'm happy
to share what I do have.

Is it computerized? Can it be put into a word doc? If so I could make
a page within the website.

April,
I am in the process of updating the Boxford website. I just recently
took
over as coordinator, that is why I am looking for help in updating it.
When
the new site is up, hopefully in the next week or so, the links will be
updated.
I am looking for information to be posted on the site. The current site
has
only a few families and as old a big as Boxford is, there are more out
there. So I am asking for family names and websites if available.
Also, the history of Boxford is rather weak, does anyone have any
information they would like to add?
Thanks,
Michelle

Dear Michelle Wilkins Cook, I would love to have access to the site.
Boxford, Georgetown, Topsfield, and Haverhill. I tried the links below,
but to no
avail. April Blodgett Boerstler

Thanks, Mariana!!
You mentioned "This list has had a reputation for being helpful,
PLEASE, let us live up to our billing."
I haven't posted a request often, but when I have someone ALWAYS
comes through with an answer. Many of my great-grandparents children
came to the Lowell-Lawrence-Methuen-Haverill area, as well as Marlboro
and Worcester. Travel to do research is out of the question for me. I
am a Carmelite nun, living just outside New Orleans, but I was born and
raised in Lowell, MA. Without this list, my research would be
surrounded by brick walls (no pun intended) and many branches would be
empty. The good people on the list have provided that one small clue
that lets me move on, or fills a gap left empty for a long time.
THANKS FOLKS!!

Michelle,
I have a Plumer/Plummer branch in my family tree in
Georgetown that I can share information on, but I
don't have a website. I do have all usual the
genealogy data (names, dates, vitals, census records)
that I have collected, but I think my branch is its
own unique line that would not interest anyone else
but me. I have past posted to list for about 3 years,
not found anyone else working my line, however distant
the connection might be, so you might not be
interested either.
But I throw it out to you anyway.

Hi,
I'd be tickled pink if Boxford and Topsfield sites were enlarged. My
family
which appears in records for both Boxford and Topsfield was named
Davis.
Amos Davis married Elizabeth (Bowden or Bowen) Powers on 30 Apriul 1823
in
Haverhill. Their children born in Boxford/ Topsfield were Francis
Henry
(b.1832), Greenleaf Page, John Woodman, and others whom I can't name
off-hand as I
sit at the computer. I have never been able to trace either Amos or
Elizabeth
before they were married. Hope your new site will catch the feeling of
the
area as well as adding lots of info. (P.S. My Davises moved to
Jefferson
County, NY sometime around 1840 )

Joyce,
Do you know when and where they died? If it's in Massachusetts after
1840, the NEHGS 1841-1910 database could be of assistance.
The marriage record says that Amos was of Exeter. No state is given.
I'm guessing it was NH.

I have a Thomas JONES born 26 July 1800. He had a brother Peter born 19
July 1792. There were probably other siblings, but these are all I know
about.
Thomas 's death record lists his parents as Hannah and Thomas JONES. I
have found a Thomas JONES marrying a Hannah SMITH on 2 November 1773 in
Ispswich, Essex, Massachusetts.
I know my JONES family moved from Massachusetts to Manchester, New
York, and then my Thomas moved to Oakland County, Michigan by 1835. He
died there in 1880. My Thomas married Abigail "Nabby" BIRD about 1824.
It is unknown if they married in Massaachusetts or if they met and
married in Manchester, Abigail BIRD, born in Massachusetts, was the
daughter of Ebenezer BIRD of Massachusetts. Ebenezer was also in
Manchester, New York by 1830.
Can anyone help me with this JONES family?
