Hi Marilyn,

One great-grandfather was born in Maine in 1870, he married there to a woman
from Winchester, MA, and they lived here. Around 1915 he abandoned his
family and returned to Maine. In the 1930's he was taken to the Bangor
State Hospital, and he spent the last 5 years of his life there. For
whatever reason, his wife in Winchester arranged for his remains to be
brought back to Winchester to be buried in the "family plot" - where she
would be buried about 20 years later. I have the "burial record" but I
don't have his "death record."

Another great-grandfather lived in Stoneham, but around 1921, he found out
he had cancer and decided to spend his last year/s in Sandwich, NH, at his
son's home. He died there and his buried there. His wife is buried in
Stoneham.

Just an FYI.

Betty (near Lowell, MA)

(In middle of watching an important movie, "The Legend of 1900.")
