In comparing the Essex Co, MA Probate index to my tree, I found the
guardianship listings for David, Lucretia and Mehitabel Haseltine, who
appear in the VR as the youngest children of Samuel Haseltine Jr. and Lydia
Webster. Can anyone help me determine who Lydia is?

There are two possible choices for Lydia:
Haverhill VR Births Vol 1, page 304
Webster, Lydia, d. Samuel and Abigail (Mash), Nov. 4, 1727.
Webster, Lydia Emerson, d. "spurious," Elisabeth, bp. Sept. 24, 1727. CR1

As for Samuel Haseltine:
Haverhill Births Vol. 1, page 162
Hasletine, Samuel, s. Samuel and Mary (Johnson), Jan. 3, 1726.

The marriage:
Haverhill Marriages Vol. 2, page 157
Haseltine, Samuel, jr., and Lydia Webster [Apr. __, 1749. CR3]

The probate for the youngest children is in 1784.

HASSALTINE (see also Haseltine) Samuel, Mar. 5, 1773, in his 47th y. GR3

It seems fairly certain that he is the son of Samuel Haseltine and Mary
Johnson. His first child is Mary, and he also had siblings whose names
match the names of his children.

I find no death for Lydia, and wonder if she might have remarried or is the
below Lydia her daughter?
Haseltine, Lydia, and William Whittier of Methuen, Nov. 9, 1780.

Anyone know who Lydia Webster is?
