Subject: [MAFRANKL] My line to Franklin County, MA

I am a descendant of Stephen and Ursula Adams. My Streeter line is as
follows: Stephen and Ursula-1 (of Gloucester and Charlestown),
Stephen-2 (of Charleston and Cambridge), Samuel-3 (of Cambridge and
Framingham), Stephen-4 (of Framingham and Douglas, MA), Adams-5 (A
Universalist Minister in Boston and Oxford), Adams-6 ("The only
Revolutionary War Soldier by that Name), Benjamin B.-7 (A tanner in Fort
Covington, NY, but was most probably born in Worcester or Franklin
County, MA) & Sarah (Reynolds), Hardy Platte-8 (lived in Fort Covington,
died in Topeka) & Sophia Minona (Clark), Benjamin Cleveland-9 & , Louis
Benjamin-10 & Mary Jane (Black), Jack-11 and Edith Bernice (Vowels), and
John Willis-12, that's me. Everyone from Hardy Platte-8 to Jack-11 is
buried in Topeka, Shawnee County, KS, where I was born. I brag of two
children and three grandchildren and one step grandchild (so far no male
descendants with the name Streeter but I continue to hope and pray!),
three step-children and four step grandchildren, with two in the
hoppers.

I would be interested to learn of any information anyone might have
about where Huldah (Barber) Streeter might have been buried in 1850 in
Templeton, MA or where I might contact or go to find out; she was
widowed by Adams and received his Revolutionary War pension until her
death. I am planning a short vacation in Massachusetts this summer, and
would like to find my first Streeter ancestral grave in Massachusetts.
I am aware of where some of my other earlier lines have been buried.
For example, I have visited the grave of Henry Adams, Ursula's father in
Quincy, MA, and I have information as to the location of the grave of
Edith Squire, his wife, although I cannot recall it off the top of my
head.

If anyone has any idea how I might locate Adams Streeter's grave in
either Royalston, Orange, or Winchendon, I would appreciate that too!
Yes, I do realize that some or all of those villages may be in Worcester
County, rather than Franklin.

I enjoyed the post on the list of the Griffin Crafts Descendants and the
Stark Families, and I also greatly appreciate the sharing of the details
of those two lines with me directly. More later, when I have some time
to check some of my files...for more connections to those families.
